Vance Daly grew up in the small town of Grenada, Mississippi. After graduating high school, Vance went to Delta State University where he received a degree in insurance and real estate.
Realizing he did not want to sell insurance or real estate, Vance decided to continue his college career by attending law school at the University of Mississippi School of Law. After graduating law school, Vance went to work for Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush, P.A., in Ridgeland, Mississippi, and spent the first eight years of his legal career being trained by some of Mississippi’s finest lawyers. While in the Jackson area, Vance was very active at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi. He taught Sunday school for eighth grade boys, was a drummer for the worship team, and served as a deacon at the church. Vance also lead a weekly men’s Bible study in his home for six years, and participated in a ministry to the homeless of downtown Jackson.
After marrying his high school sweet heart, Vance Daly left Copeland Cook and moved to Hernando to start his own practice, The Daly Law Firm, PLLC. After four and a half years on his own, Vance teamed up with his life-long friend, Adam Kirk, to form
Daly • Kirk, PLLC.
Vance’s life-long journey with the Lord led him to realize that his profession as a lawyer could also be used as a ministry. Vance now seeks to minister to others by serving them in their time of legal need.
Licensed in both Mississippi (2003) and Tennessee (2009), Vance focuses his practice on construction and business litigation, construction law, liens, collection and payment disputes, business formation, corporate litigation, contract drafting and litigation, general litigation, personal injury and adoption. He is also a certified guardian ad litem serving children placed in the custody of our State’s foster care system.
Vance is a member if Riverbend Church in Hernando, where he serves on the leadership team, plays drums for the worship band and leads a small group bible study in his home. He also is the co-founder (along with his wife, Kim) of Love Works 25:40, a non-profit ministry in Hernando based on Matthew 25:40 (whatever you have done unto the least of these, you have done unto me) seeking to help “the least of these.” To read more about this ministry, check it out at www.loveworks2540.net.
Vance is proudly married to his wife, Kim Daly, and together they have six children in their home — some birthed, some adopted, and some because they have nowhere else to go.
